Located in a Regency Style neighborhood in the Museum District of Houston, the Deed Restrictions required the design to be urbanely white and grand. This facade worked with the classical detailing to create a monumental entrance which leads you directly into an informal courtyard which includes a serene lap pool. Slate covered verandas accompany slate tiled roofs, and custom cast iron railings. The living spaces include a 20' x 30' living room pavilion with french doors on all sides, a curved library hallway, dining room, red parlor and keeping room. Walnut floors and hearth dominate a keeping room which contains a granite and cherry kitchen designed to accommodate two gourmet chefs.
